SOMIC now has 50 trainees, with 13 new ones starting

On September 1, 2025, a new chapter in life began for 13 talented young people: the start of their apprenticeships at SOMIC. SOMIC now has a total of 50 apprentices – a milestone of which we are particularly proud.

Every year, it is a pleasure for us to see so many committed and motivated young people and welcome them as part of the SOMIC team.

Over the past five years, we have successfully taken on more than 70 trainees from nine different vocational programs. SOMIC thus offers not only a pleasant working environment, exciting tasks, and high-quality training, but also excellent prospects for the future.

“I am especially looking forward to getting to know my fellow trainees,” says a prospective technical product designer. Another trainee is looking forward to the experiences ahead and the opportunity to learn many new things. The entire SOMIC team is also very much looking forward to working with its new young colleagues.
