Successful Open House

On October 25, 2025, SOMIC USA opened the doors of its new company building with an area of approx. 4,500 m² in Inver Grove Heights, Minneapolis, and welcomed numerous guests – including customers, business partners, the mayor, representatives of the German-American Chamber of Commerce, and employees from the USA and Germany.

The highlight of the day was the ribbon-cutting ceremony with company owner Patrick Bonetsmüller. Guests were then given guided tours, providing them with exciting insights into SOMIC's training program, service offerings, and innovative packaging machines, including the new SOMIC 434 Superflex and the impressive CORAS system based on magnetic levitation.

In bright sunshine, the event continued with a joint lunch in the marquee before the day came to a relaxed end in Stillwater at the Freight House on the St. Croix River.
