In 2001, in search of a new location with development potential, SOMIC found what it was looking for in Amerang. The village in upper Bavaria town not only offered the required space and room for future expansion, but is also ideally located between Munich and Salzburg. Since then, the Amerang site has served as the corporate headquarters of the SOMIC Group and plays a special role in the success story. Due to the proximity to the parts production in Haag, we benefit along the entire value chain.
Approximately 500 highly qualified employees:inside work on the development and production of our machines with passion, precision and love of technology. Their know-how and experience are an essential part of our success. In doing so, we attach great importance to sustainability and environmentally conscious action. We are constantly optimizing our production processes to conserve resources and promote energy efficiency.
