SOMIC wins the 2025 Krones Apprentice Football Cup
Strong team performance: SOMIC apprentices secure the title
In brilliant summer weather on 27 June 2025, Krones AG in Rosenheim hosted its annual apprentice football tournament. On the grounds of Sportbund DJK Rosenheim, 12 apprentice teams from a wide range of regional companies competed. In addition to teams from companies such as Alpma, Ericsson, Stadtwerke Rosenheim, Auto Eder, Schattdecor and others, SOMIC participated for the first time this year.
With a total of 27 apprentices and 3 trainers, SOMIC set off for the tournament — and it paid off: the team received loud support from their colleagues and, after exciting matches, secured the tournament victory with eight wins from nine games.
Aside from the sporting element of the event, there was ample time for conversation, shared meals and good spirits. With fries, currywurst, iced coffee and cold drinks, a relaxed and lively atmosphere prevailed around the pitch.
Warm thanks go to Krones AG for the successful organization and to all participating teams for their commitment and team spirit. SOMIC is already looking forward to hosting the tournament next year and continuing this special apprentice event.
