Successful Open House at SOMIC Packaging, Inc.

On October 25, 2025, SOMIC USA opened the doors of its new company facility of approx. 4,500 m² in Inver Grove Heights, Minneapolis, and welcomed numerous guests – including customers, business partners, the mayor, representatives of the German-American Chamber of Commerce, and employees from the United States and Germany.

The highlight of the day was the ceremonial „Ribbon Cut Ceremony“ with company owner Patrick Bonetsmüller. Afterwards, guests gained exciting insights during guided tours into the training program, the service offerings and SOMIC's innovative packaging machines – including the new SOMIC 434 SuperFlex and the impressive CORAS-System on a magnetic-levitation basis.

In bright sunshine the event continued with a communal lunch in the marquee, before the day concluded in Stillwater at the „Freight House“ on the St. Croix River in a relaxed atmosphere.
